Consultation (15 mins) FREE
The first step in your essay coaching process, a free 15-min consultation lets us meet each other via Zoom, ask questions, and determine which services will be most helpful. Parents are welcome to attend.
Brainstorming $99
This service is ideal for students who have not started a draft yet. The Brainstorming Session helps to unearth a student’s stories and experiences while contextualizing them in the structure of a personal essay. This session can also help students who are stuck between two or more ideas for an essay. Held on Zoom.
Evaluation $85
Students do not attend the Evaluation. You are booking Kate’s time during which she will read and reread a draft, mark it up, make suggestions, and create a plan for moving forward with a revision. Often, students follow up their Evaluation with a Coaching Session.
Coaching $150
This service is often the follow up to an Evaluation. Students will receive real-time feedback to revision efforts and “walk through” their draft while writing in real-time. This session is helpful when time is of the essence and a student is ready to finalize their draft. Most students need between 1-3 coaching sessions. Held on Zoom.
